It is a game greatly anticipated by all hoops fans in the Metro NY area. Loaded with talent, both regions will do battle to prove who are the "Kings & Queens of the Court" in Metropolitan New York.

Howie Frajberg MVP Award for boys
The MVP award for the boys game is named for Howie Frajberg, Coach, Fan, Player and longtime advocate for basketball of all levels in the Metro NY area.


Joseph C. Smith MVP Award for girls
The MVP award for the girls game is named for Joseph C. Smith, a pioneer in journalism in women's basketball.


The MVP awards will be given out following the end of each game as voted on by the media covering the game.


The Metro Classic Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented at half time of each game.

 

Proceeds benefit the Aim High Youth Organization.  The mission of the Aim High Youth Organization is to build character and inspire achievement for youth, especially youth-at-risk, through team sports.
